In a nutshell
Yes. Threadline's improvement and research choices are optional, and you can change your choice or withdraw research consent.
Your participation is optional
You can use Threadline without agreeing to use of de-identified information for optional improvement or research purposes.
Choosing not to participate does not affect your ability to prepare your child's Assessment Package.
The choices are separate
Threadline distinguishes between:
- helping improve Threadline using de-identified information to improve the platform and develop better tools
- helping improve ADHD assessment using de-identified information for ethically approved research
These are optional choices.

Changing an optional improvement or research choice is different from the information Threadline needs to provide the service to your family.

Where consent settings are available in Threadline, you can update your choice in Settings.
