How Threadline uses de-identified information

In a nutshell
With your permission, Threadline may use de-identified information to improve the platform or, with separate consent, support ethically approved research into ADHD assessment and care.
What does de-identified mean?
De-identified information is information that has been processed so it cannot reasonably identify you or your child.
Direct identifying details such as your child's name and contact details are not used as the identifying information for these improvement or research purposes.
Helping improve Threadline
If you choose to participate, de-identified information may be used to:
- improve Threadline
- improve assessment preparation
- develop better tools for families
- evaluate product performance
- understand how families use Threadline
Helping improve ADHD assessment
With separate consent, de-identified information may be used to support ethically approved research.
This may include work intended to improve ADHD assessment and care or contribute to better understanding of child development.
Good to know
Improvement and research participation are optional. Choosing not to participate does not affect your ability to use Threadline.
What Threadline will not do
Threadline does not:
- sell your personal information
- use your information for advertising
- share your child's identifiable information for research without explicit permission
- allow research participation to determine whether your family can use Threadline
