Who can see my child's information?

In a nutshell
You decide what goes into your child's Thread and when assessment information is shared. Threadline does not send your child's Assessment Package to a clinician or contact a teacher for assessment information unless you authorise the relevant action.
Your Thread
Your Thread is the secure record you create within Threadline.
You remain the owner of the information you upload. Threadline stores and organises that information on your behalf.
Sharing with your child's clinician
When you choose to share your Assessment Package, the authorised clinician can receive the information you have chosen to share through the available Threadline sharing process.
Your child's clinician then reviews that information as part of their own assessment process.
Teacher invitations
A teacher is contacted when you provide their contact details and authorise Threadline to send the invitation.
The teacher is invited to contribute assessment information. They are not being given general access to your child's entire Thread.
Good to know
Inviting a teacher and sharing an Assessment Package with a clinician are separate actions. Threadline asks for your authorisation at the relevant point in the journey.
Technology providers
Threadline may use trusted technology providers to securely host or process information so we can deliver the service.
These providers are different from a clinician, teacher or other person you choose to share assessment information with.
We do not sell your personal information
Threadline does not sell your personal information.
