What happens after my Assessment Package is complete?

In a nutshell
Completing your Assessment Package means your assessment preparation information is organised and ready for review. Your child's clinical assessment still happens with their clinician.
Review what you have prepared
Before moving on, take a moment to review your Assessment Package.
You may want to check:
- your child's details
- your history and examples
- the activities you have completed
- teacher input, where available
- the reports you have uploaded
Do not worry if a genuine gap remains. The important thing is that the available information is represented honestly.
Share with your child's clinician
When you are ready, you can share your Assessment Package with your child's clinician using the sharing options available in Threadline.
The package is designed to help them start with organised information from the assessment preparation journey.
Good to know
Assessment ready does not mean diagnosis ready. Your child's clinician still needs to complete their own assessment and decide whether any further information is required.
Your clinician reviews the information
Your clinician may use the Assessment Package alongside:
- clinical interviews
- your child's medical history
- their own observations
- additional questionnaires or assessment tools
- any further information they decide is necessary
They may still ask for more
A complete Threadline journey does not guarantee that no further information will be needed.
Your clinician may identify a gap, want clarification or recommend another assessment.
That is not a failure of your Assessment Package. It is part of the clinician building the picture they need to make a clinical decision.
The clinical outcome remains with your clinician
Threadline does not determine whether your child has ADHD.
Your child's clinician remains responsible for diagnosis, discussing the outcome with your family and recommending next steps where appropriate.
The role of the Assessment Package is to help you reach that stage with your information better organised and the key parts of your child's story easier to review.
