Editing your information
2 min read
In a nutshell
Your child's Assessment Package is designed to build over time. Where an activity can be edited, you can return to it to correct information or add something important you remembered later.
Can I change my information?
For many parts of the assessment preparation journey, yes.
You may want to update information because:
- you noticed an error
- you remembered an important example
- your child's circumstances changed
- new information became available
Be accurate rather than perfect
It is normal to remember details gradually.
You do not need to produce a perfect account of your child's entire history in one sitting.
The aim is to provide information that is as accurate and useful as you can reasonably make it.
Good to know
If you are unsure about an exact date or detail, avoid guessing simply to make the form look complete. Use the most accurate information you have and make uncertainty clear where Threadline allows.
What about completed questionnaires?
Some standardised questionnaires may have different editing rules from general background activities.
If a completed questionnaire cannot be changed and you believe you made an important error, contact Threadline Support for guidance.
Review before sharing
Before you share your Assessment Package with your child's clinician, take a moment to review the information you have provided.
You do not need to rewrite everything. Focus on obvious errors, missing context and anything important that has changed.
