My teacher hasn't received the invitation

2 min read

In a nutshell

Teacher invitations should usually arrive shortly after they are sent. If the email has not arrived, check the address, ask the teacher to check filtered mail and resend the invitation if needed.

1. Check the email address

Start by checking the teacher's email address in Threadline.

A small typing error can prevent the invitation from reaching them.

2. Ask the teacher to check filtered mail

School email systems can be particularly strict about automated messages.

Ask the teacher to check:

  • Spam
  • Junk
  • Quarantine, if their school uses it
  • other filtered or blocked message areas

3. Resend the invitation

If the email address is correct and the invitation still has not arrived, resend the invitation from Threadline where that option is available.

Good to know

Avoid sending repeated invitations within a few minutes. School email filters can sometimes delay messages, so allow a little time before trying again.

Still having trouble?

If the teacher still cannot find the invitation, contact Threadline Support.

It helps to include the teacher's email domain and a brief description of what you have already tried. Do not send us sensitive assessment information unless we specifically ask for it.
