What is Threadline?

In a nutshell
Threadline helps families prepare a complete, organised Assessment Package before their child's ADHD assessment. It does not diagnose ADHD or replace your child's clinician.
Why families use Threadline
Preparing for an ADHD assessment can feel overwhelming.
Many parents find themselves trying to:
- remember important examples from several years ago
- locate school reports and previous assessments
- complete questionnaires
- ask teachers for their observations
- organise everything before an appointment
This often happens while juggling work, school and everyday family life.
Threadline breaks the preparation process into manageable steps. Instead of wondering what to do next, you work through a guided journey that helps build a clearer picture of your child's history, strengths and current challenges.
What Threadline helps you collect
Depending on your child's circumstances, your Assessment Package may include:
- your child's developmental, medical and family history
- your observations and concerns
- standardised questionnaires completed by parents
- teacher observations and questionnaires
- information about emotional wellbeing
- previous reports and assessments
- supporting documents you choose to upload
Threadline organises this information into one structured Assessment Package that you can choose to share with your child's clinician.
What Threadline does not do
Threadline does not:
- diagnose ADHD
- provide medical advice
- replace an assessment by a qualified clinician
- recommend treatment
Your child's clinician remains responsible for reviewing the available information, conducting their assessment, making any diagnosis and discussing treatment options where appropriate.
Good to know
Threadline prepares information for assessment. All clinical judgement and diagnosis remain with your child's clinician.
Your information stays under your control
You decide what information to include and when to share your Assessment Package.
Threadline is designed to help you arrive at your child's assessment feeling more organised and better prepared.
